Kultura i Społeczeństwo is a quarterly published continuously by the Polish Academy of Sciences ever since 1957. The journal was established at the time of a revival of Polish Sociology in the post‑Stalin period. It has become a journal which incorporates both the achievements of the most prominent, internationally recognized scientists in the field, and first and foremost its Editors‐in‐Chief, namely Józef Chałasiński (1957‐1959 and 1967‐1979), Stefan Żółkiewski (1960‐1966), Antonina Kłoskowska (1983‐2001) and Elżbieta Tarkowska (2001‐2016) and current achievements.
Currently the journal is published jointly by the Committee on Sociology, PAS and the Institute of Political Studies, PAS. The present Editorial Board endeavors to persevere the existing thematic approach by accepting multidisciplinary contributions. The journal publishes theoretical and empirical research in the fields of sociology, anthropology, social thought, cultural studies.
Kultura i Społeczeństwo is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. All articles in the journal are published in the open access formula, on the licence Creative Commons Attribution – NonCommercial – ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
The journal does not charge submission or publication fees for the manuscripts.

Sprawy Międzynarodowe (International Affairs) is a quarterly founded in 1948. The journal publishes articles on international safety, European integration, foreign affairs policy, regional development policy, political system transformation in Central and Eastern Europe, in Asia and Africa, international organizations as well as diplomatic acts and book reviews.

Aims and scope
Studia Polityczne is a leading political science journal in Central and Eastern Europe, whose aim is to publish high-quality research in all areas of political science, including public policy, public administration, comparative politics, political sociology and international relations.
The journal publishes methodologically rigorous and original works of significance to the broadly understood discipline. The journal's editors welcome papers in Polish and in English, that are embedded in theories and methodologies used in social sciences. Texts that adopt innovative research approaches and transcend the traditional framework of subdisciplines are particularly welcome. Empirically, the editors particularly encourage the submission of research results regarding the Central and Eastern European region, including Poland, or taking into account the region from a comparative perspective.
Studia Polityczne is a quarterly journal and has been published by the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 1992. All texts are published free of charge in open access. The editors promote the highest international standards in peer review.
Rocznik Polsko‑Niemiecki [Polish‐German Annual] is published by the Department of German Studies of the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw since 1992. Initially, it was Professor Jerzy Holzer who served as the editor‐in‐chief, currently this post is held by Professor Piotr Madajczyk.
The Editorial Board acts strictly by the rules established in order to guarantee highest academic standards.
