Review Process

The Review Process complies with the recommendations by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as published by the Ethics in Science Committee in a study “Good Practices in Review Procedures in Science”, Warsaw 2011.

Crucial Review Procedure Principles:

  • By submitting a text for publication, Author(s) agree the manuscript be subject to the review procedure;

  • Texts are subject to Editorial screening;

  • Manuscripts are reviewed by competent and reliable experts;

  • The review procedure is confidential and anonymous, which is guaranteed by a double-blind review, that is neither do the reviewers know the Author’s identity nor does the Author know the Reviewer’s identity;

  • Reviews are conducted by two external, that is not employed in the institution publishing the journal, experts;

  • The Reviewers shall have an affiliation other than the affiliation of the Author and there shall be no conflict of interest between the Author(s) and Reviewer(s);

  • Reviewers must not use knowledge about the content of the article before its publication;

  • The Author makes all the necessary corrections according to the Reviewer’s comments;

  • Following the revisions, the Reviewer once again reviews the manuscript;

  • Any communication between the Author and the Reviewer is conducted by the Editors.

Reviewer Guide

A request to prepare a review will be sent to the Reviewer’s email address by the Editor. Reviewer accounts have been created by the Editorial Team. If you are not listed among the journal’s reviewers and you wish to become one, please go to the journals website, choose Register in the Menu panel and in the registration form check the Reviewer box.

Review Inquiry

If you receive an email from the Editor with a Review Request, you should click the link sent in the email which will redirect you to the page containing information on the submission.

In the Request section you will find an abstract together with key words and Review Schedule, where Response Due Date and Review Due Date will be specified.

You may view all the details concerning the submission record once you click View All Submission Details.

You will have to accept theData Processing Agreement.

Subsequently, you will have to decide whether you wish to accept the Review Request. If you are ready to write a review, click Accept Review, Continue to Step #2, if however you choose not to review the manuscript, click Decline Review Request. The notification for the Editor informing about your decision will be generated automatically and you will be able to modify this notification. Hit Send to confirm your choice.

Reviewer Guidelines

If you accept the Review Request, you will gain access to the full manuscript.

In the Guidelines section you will be informed about the guidelines for reviews. Then continue to the next step (Review).

Review

Under the Review section you can download the article file (click the name of the file) and save it to your devicelled in) in order to finish the review process, in the Recommendations section choose the appropriate recommendation using the dropdown menu. Finally, hit the Submit Review button to complete your task.

Please note that any further modifications in the review once it has been confirmed will be impossible.

Once you click the Submit Review button, the Editor will receive a notification the review process is finished.

Your task has been completed.
