Sprawy Międzynarodowe (International Affairs) is a quarterly founded in 1948. The journal publishes articles on international safety, European integration, foreign affairs policy, regional development policy, political system transformation in Central and Eastern Europe, in Asia and Africa, international organizations as well as diplomatic acts and book reviews.
Since 2019, all texts published in Sprawy Międzynarodowe have been available in electronic form on an open access basis, which means that all content is freely available to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles or use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior consent of the publisher or author. All articles in the journal are made available under the non-exclusive Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
The journal does not charge fees for submitting or publishing texts.
The author publishing in the journal grants the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences a non-exclusive license to use the work in all fields of exploitation listed in art. 50 of the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights. The author has the right to publish their article in university repositories and on their accounts in scientific social networks (e.g. Academia or Research Gate).
Submitting an article for publication is tantamount to a declaration that the article has not been published or submitted for publication in any other journal and that the copyrights of other persons or entities have not been violated.
All submitted works are verified by the editors in the Crossref Similarity Check program (iThenticate) in order to prevent the publication of plagiarisms and self-plagiarisms.
