The aim of the article is to present the activities of the Independent Commission on Antigypsyism established by German federal government, which investigated and prevented antigypsyism in contemporary German. The author will focus on presenting the first report of the Independent Commission Antigypsyism and the first effect of its activities, as well as the response to them of the Central Council of German Sinti and Roma on behalf the Roma community living in Germany.
