European Values vs Homo Soveticus: The Role of Information in Overcoming of Ethnic Stereotypes. Using the Example of Ukrainian-Polish Relations

Abstract

The stereotypes of mutual perception of Poles and Ukrainians have been formed over years. In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, both states turned towards the European system of values. However, the ‘ghosts’ of the past continue to influence contemporary Ukrainian and Polish relations.
