The Inheritance of Wealth and the Regeneration of Life in the Anthropocene

Abstract

The article brings together three contemporary fields of research: reproductive ecofeminism, Ingrid Robeyns’s limitarianism, and the ecological economics of degrowth. It highlights the key strengths of all three approaches in the context of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century: growing economic inequalities and the global environmental crisis. The author examines the feasibility of the reforms proposed by these approaches in the face of the aspiration for equality and the regeneration of life in the Anthropocene.
