Reviewer Guidelines

The review procedure is a key element of the whole publishing process. Not only does it mainstream the selection of Manuscripts to be published in the journal, but it also provides feedback for the Authors, thus positively influencing the final shape of the Manuscript.

Reviewers are nominated based on their expertise in the subject matter of the Manuscript, as documented by their publications in the field. Once an invitation to review a Manuscript is delivered, the Reviewer shall assess his/hers qualifications to review the Manuscript and decide whether to accept or decline the invitation.

Reviewers are expected to remain unbiased and fair in their judgment. Reviews shall be clearly written and well-argumented to serve the Authors well when preparing the final version. Reviews shall be content-related and refer solely to the text, never an Author.

Reviews are submitted via the online platform at http://czasopisma.isppan.waw.pl/index.php/c. Reviewers need to be registered users.

Reviews are submitted on review forms published on the website. The review forms include questions concerning originality of the Manuscript, methodology, text structure and coherence, bibliography and language correctness. Reviewers are kindly requested to address these questions at length. A narrative feedback answering the questions mentioned above is acceptable.

The review form allows the following recommendations: a) to accept unconditionally, b) to accept the Manuscript with major revision and further review, c) to accept the Manuscript with minor revision and further review, d) to decline submission.
