Rocznik Polsko‑Niemiecki [Polish­‐German Annual] is published by the Department of German Studies of the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw since 1992. Initially, it was Professor Jerzy Holzer who served as the editor­‐in‐chief, currently this post is held by Professor Piotr Madajczyk.
The focus of attention of Rocznik Polsko‐Niemiecki are Polish‐German relationships, including relationships within the framework of the European Union and German‐speaking areas in Europe (with emphasis on Germany and the history of both German states post World War II, and Austria). 
The annual publishes scholarly articles in the fields of history, political science, and sociology, as well as those that combine historical, political science, and sociological perspectives.
