Offshore wind farms development is one of the crucial element of the broad investments package leading to removable energy volume increase. Paper presents the authors opinions about offshore wind farms input on national maritime security. A specific assumption has been created that building the wind farms at the water areas under Polish jurisdiction together with energy supplies diversification will impinge on national maritime security in significant role. Some areas of influence on maritime forces have been identified as well as critical national and European infrastructure.
