K-transformacja – Korea Południowa jako model nowoczesności dla krajów rozwijających się: Studium przypadku Republiki Mongolii

Abstrakt

Artykuł zawiera syntezę i opis mechanizmów transmisji koreańskich wpływów w obszarach technologii, gospodarki i kultury. Na Zachodzie ekspansja nowych trendów z Korei Południowej widoczna jest przede wszystkim w popkulturze, jednak w krajach rozwijających się ma wiele innych wymiarów, w tym gospodarczy, technologiczny oraz społeczno-kulturowy (np. relacje genderowe). Transformacja estetyczna w krajach azjatyckich, ale i szerzej – na globalnym Południu, powiązana jest bowiem z absorpcją idei modernizacji w realiach dawnych peryferii. W percepcji niegdysiejszego Trzeciego Świata Korea nie jest obciążona zbrodniami kolonializmu jak inne potęgi gospodarcze, a jednocześnie uosabia sukces ekonomiczny, stając się wzorcem i wyznacznikiem aspiracji dla tamtejszej nowej miejskiej klasy średniej. Prezentując koreański fenomen, artykuł przybliża studium przypadku mongolskiego społeczeństwa, które pomimo odmiennych uwarunkowań społecznych podlega przemianom pod wpływem tzw. koreańskiej fali. Mongolia wyjątkowo silnie zaabsorbowała koreańskie wpływy, łącznie z odrzuceniem sekularyzacji.
