Author Biography
Ph.D., political scientist and historian specializing in Central European affairs; Poland’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, heading the embassy in Prague in 2022–24; assistant professor at the Centre for East European Studies, University of Warsaw. He graduated with honors in political science from the University of Warsaw and earned his Ph.D. from Comenius University in Bratislava after doctoral studies at the Institute of Political Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He worked as an analyst at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and at the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW), where he headed the Central Europe Department and later served as Deputy Director. His academic research focuses on Central Europe, particularly Polish-Czech and Polish-Slovak relations in the 20th century. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Polish-Slovak Commission for the Humanities, chairing its Polish section since October 2025.
