Author Biography
Ph.D. in political science, assistant professor at the Institute of Political Science and Public Administration, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Siedlce, author of, among others, the monograph Carl Schmitt i Leo Strauss. Krytyka pozytywizmu prawniczego w niemieckiej myśli politycznej [Carl Schmitt and Leo Strauss. Criticism of Legal Positivism in German Political Thought] (2015). His research interests include German and American political thought, the relationship between law and politics, the political philosophy of localism and local communities and the impact of technology on politics. Visiting professor at Școala Națională de Studii Politice și Administrative (SNSPA) in Bucharest (2018), Masarykova Univerzita in Brno (2022 and 2023), visiting researcher at the University of Chicago (2013), Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich (2012 and 2013) and Friedrich-Alexander Universität in Erlangen/ Nuremberg (2025). Member of the Polish Political Science Association, the Association for Political Theory, the European Hobbes Society and the International Association for Safe and Ethical AI.
