Symbolic Boundaries in Social Communication: Introduction

Abstract

The text is an introduction to one of the volumes of the “Culture and Society” journal, titled “Symbolic Boundaries in Social Communication. ”Its authors outline the history of the development of this problem in the social sciences. They briefly present the individual texts included in this volume, sketching a picture differentiated by the topics covered.
