Studia Polityczne is a renowned academic journal, publishing since 1992, thus already for over 25 years, articles within the broadly understood Political Science, book reviews and editorial discussions. The journal constitutes a forum for free scientific discourse for the Polish Political Science scientific community. The journal welcomes articles from authors from diverse research centres, including foreign research centres.
Many previously unpublished and currently valued scholars made their debut on the pages of Studia Polityczne.
Since 2014, Studia Polityczne is a quarterly published by the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Content‐and idea‐wise, the journal is run by the Editorial Board composed of known members of the scientific community. All articles are subject to the peer‐review process.

Studia Polityczne is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. All articles in the journal are published in the open access formula, on the licence Creative Commons Attribution – NonCommercial – ShareAlike 4.0 International License

The journal does not charge submission or publication fees for the manuscripts.

The Author grants the ISP PAN the non-exclusive proprietary copyrights license for the work in all fields of exploitation listed in Art. 50 of the Act of February 4, 1994 about copyright and related rights. The license also includes the right for further sublicensing in the aforementioned fields of exploitation, © authors.

Sending an article for publication is tantamount to a statement that it was not published or submitted for publication in another journal and that it does not infringe on the copyrights of other persons and entities.

All the submitted manuscripts are verified in the Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) to prevent the plagiarism and duplicate publications.
